Here's who I am & what I do

My name is Abigail Legrone, I am from the small town of Richton, MS. I recently moved to Columbia, MS, where my husband and I are beginning this new season of life together. We were married on December 18, 2025, and I am currently a Senior at the University of Southern Mississippi, where I am pursing a degree in Elementary Education with plans to graduate in May 2026.

My passion for teaching began during my sophomore year of high school when I worked as a tutor for multiple subjects. During that time, I discovered how meaningful it is to help students understand concepts they once found difficult. Being able to break down learning in a way that makes sense and seeing the confidence it brings to others truly fueled my desire to become a teacher.

My dream is to teach 4th grade, create a supportive classroom environment, encourage my students, and make learning both engaging and enjoyable.
